3 Hours at Face Nord Mons

Carl and Ignace went saterday 22 october 2011 to the bouldering competition 3 Hours Chrono at  climbing gym Face Nord .Ignace had a lot of schoolwork and stayed at home. It was a succes for the organisation .98 competitors for 70 boulders. Too many competitiors caused  long waiting times, dangerous landings and lots of mangnesium in the air. We were not able to give all we had and couldn't even get to the boulders in the overhanging part. Manolo ciimbed 43 boulders and  finished on 8 place .Carl  did 34 boulders and finished  18 place of 63 adult men. Chloé Caulier was first of Females and Olivier Mignon first of adult male.

Selection 1 Boulder Blok Hoboken

Saterday 15 October was the first selection boulder competition at bouldergym Klimzaal Blok Hoboken.
Ignace climbed 5 of the 12 boulder problems and finished on 16 place.Above  a video of Cedric Binst watch till the crazy end !

While Ignace was climbing on plastic holds in Imst during the Youth World Lead competition August 2011, Manolo and Carl checked out the bouldering spot Tumpen nearby Imst. Manolo climbed his first 7A Boulder  White traverse.Here is the video of Banana Joe 6c+.

Women finals World cup lead climbing Puurs 1 Oct 2011 with Sasha Diguilian,Mina Markovic,Kim Jain,Angela Eiter and Akiyo Noguchi.

Carl,Ignace and Manolo went to the World Cup Lead climbing in Puurs as a work volunteer.
The weather was super with blue sky, temperatures above 25°C and no rain or wind. We saw the best climbers of the world in this exciting event.
One Belgian climber made it to the semifinals our friend Loïc Timmermans and he ended on 23° place.Loïc participated for the first time to a World cup for Adult men and this was already a good result.
