Trophy Chloé Grafitaux

Saterday 27 November we went to the "Trophee Chloé Grafitaux" in Rocourt in France.This was a boulder competition organised as a memorial for Chloé who died on August this year.

After the competition and before the female super final the mother of Chloé showed pictures and videos of Chloé

We also took Magali Hayen in our car to this competition .

There were more climbers from Klimax Belgium and Olympia Hasselt.They all did their best to climb the 41 Boulders.

Anak Verhoeven,Céline Cuypers, Nils Lemeire and Manolo all finished on the first place in their category.

Ignace climbed well but finished on a 5th place in his category.

Magali Hayen was second after a super final where both females could not top the boulder.

Belgian Boulder 2010 Manche 1 Bleau

Ignace did not go to the EYS climbing competition in Kranj this year because it is expensive to go with the Belgian Team . He also looses two days of school for only 2 qualifications routes .

He preferred to go to the Belgian Boulder competition in Bleau Ghent.

There he had fun bouldering hard routes in a relaxed atmosphere and topped 7 of the 12 boulders and finished on a 10th place.

We were surprised to see that most of the male competitors climbed with the Team Five Ten shoes.

Anak won her second EYS competition in Kranj. She is getting really strong !

Blok Challenge 2010

Ignace en Manolo hebben deelgenomen aan de Blok Challenge 2010 in klimzaal Blok te Hoboken.Ignace heeft maar aan 2 sessies kunnen deelnemen zodat Manolo 5 de werd en Ignace 6de .

Peter Belien 2010

Saterday 13 November 2010 was a rainy day in Belgium.

We all went to the indoor bouldercompetition Peter Beliën in Hasselt.

Ignace and Manolo climbed for 7 hours .

They both had fun on the 30 boulders.

It was a relaxed atmosphere where young and old climb together.

Ignace climbed to the top of 25 boulders and finished on 19th place.

Manolo climbed like an adult and finished 39th of 88 male adults.

Our Dutch friends Tim and Niels Van der Sleen also competed for fun.

We did not watch the finals because Ignace and Manolo were too tired.

Fontainebleau 31 Oct - 1 Nov 2010

We went for 2 days to Fontainebleau from Sunday 31 oct to 1 nov 2010.

We had excellent conditions and had lots of fun bouldering in this magical forest.

Ignace was in good shape and pushed his personal limits every day .

We went the first day to Beauvais and second day to L'élephant.

Ignace climbed his first

Anak Verhoeven wins her first EYS competition in Annecy France

Sunday 24 October 2010 Anak Verhoeven won her first EYS competiton in Annecy (France).

Ignace was in excellent condition but did not climbed very high in his qualification routes. He climbed his worst competition.A complete off day for him to forget.

Manolo (13 Years) stayed in Belgium went to Open Bleau for a Boulder competition. He had fun and finished on the 8 place in the Category Male youth - 18 years.

This evening he could even see himself in KETNET news on Belgium TV.

Loïc Timmermans wins his first EYS in Bulgaria

Loic Timmermans won today by climbing the highest in a super final in Youth B Male.Good job !
