YBC Arlon 2012

Saterday 28 April 2012 Manolo and Ignace went to the third Youth boulder circuit competition in Arlon. Manolo won this competition in category B male  by bouldering 36 of the 40 boulders. Liam Thys was already overall winner Male B as he won 2 of the 3 competitions. Manolo took second place. Ignace was third in Juniors Male .Thomas Salakenos won in Arlon for Juniors Male category.He topped all boulders !  Cédric Binst climbed hard and was second in Male A category but was already overall winner in Cat A male. Chloé Caulier won in Female A .

6 climbers of each category  are now qualified for  the Belgian Youth Boulder Championship in boulder gym Bleau on Sunday 13 May 2012.

L'Escale Open Youth Arlon

Yesterday Sat 22 januari 2011 Ignace and Manolo competed at the Youth Lead Climbing competition in L'Escale Arlon.

Ignace (Cat.A)climbed to the top of his qualifiaction routes.In the finals he also topped his route.In the superfinals he climbed 2 moves less then Loïc Timmermans and finished second.

Manolo (Cat.B) climbed to the top of his qualification routes.In the finals he did not reach the top and ended on the 9th place.

The routes in qualification,finals and superfinals were too easy for some of these young climbers.

Anak Verhoven was able to take the first place in her category B Female .

Celine Cuypers finished second in C Female.

Team Klimax was now third.Team L'Escale First and Stone Age second.

Open Jeunes L'Escale Arlon

Zaterdag 24 Januari 2009 is het de derde manche van de Belgische Jeugdcup in Arlon.
Het is voor de meeste klimmers een verre verplaatsing
Er zijn ook gemotiveerde klim(st)ers die helemaal uit het Noorden van Nederland naar deze wedstrijd komen en er dan ongeveer 5 uur in de auto overdoen.
We kennen er één van die we al op BAZ hebben tegengekomen namelijk Eva Vink.
Op het Open Vlaams Jeugklimkampioenschap haalde ze Brons . Proficiat!
