Sunday 8 May 2011 was the Belgian Lead competition at climbing gym Stone Age Woluwe.Carl climbed his first lead competition in his life. On his 45 Years he climbed higher than the other veterans (+ 40 Years) in qualification routes and finals .He won this competition for veterans and became Belgian champion veterans 2011. A dream to become Belgian champion in a sport came true.
Loïc Timmermans who climbed with us in Kalymnos became the youngest Belgian Champion men ever.
Second was Sebastien Berthe and third Rafael Fernandez.
Mathilde Brumagne became Belgian champion women 2011.Anak Verhoeven second and third Magali Hayen.
Jurgen Lis was super fast in speed and became Belgian champion speed men.
Magali is Belgian speed champion women.
Anak Verhoeven was second in Lead and speed !!
Team Kimax also won the ranking on this Belgian championship.
Ignace climbed as good as he could and finished 18° in Lead en 10° in speed.
It was a good organised competition with nice routes and a good atmosphere.
